When being a good samaritan pays off

I was putting gas in my car and watched someone open their car door specifically to throw some rubbish on the ground and then drive away. I was fuming at the nerve and laziness of them, and made a detour on my way to pay to pick up their rubbish. But then I discovered that what they’d thrown away was a brand new vanilla scented car freshener, packaging and all! They obviously hated it, but I love vanilla and my car smells eternally like beachy dogs. Score!!
